Electric and hybrid vehicles are likely to become more popular as environmental awareness grows. They've developed as a potential alternative to conventional electrical machines, such as the SRM (Switched Reluctance Motors). SRMs are well-known for their inexpensive manufacturing and maintenance costs, inbuilt fault tolerance, and simple construction. Furthermore, the rotor structure of the machine has attracted attention since it does not need permanent magnets or copper coils, which considerably cuts manufacturing costs. Because of these recognized advantages, the SRM is still a viable option for a wide range of applications but also have some drawbacks that includes its high nonlinearity, high torque ripple and acoustic noise output.
