Design of Nano Antenna using Bowtie Structure

This paper presents the simulation of nano antenna using bowtie structure in ANSYS HFSS software. The parameters like return loss, gain, radiation pattern and VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) are being analyzed and simulated using ANSYS HFSS software. Nano antenna has been used in many applications in communication for data transfer at very high rate, medicine, terahertz detection and nanophotonic applications. This project report on nano antenna using bowtie structure shows how it can be designed. The design is studied by changing the parameters like length of the nano structures and the corresponding response on s-parameter is noted. The dimension of the proposed antenna is decreased to nanometer range and the frequency is at terahertz range for the antenna to work in visible region range. The design is done for 400THz.Further analysis has been made by varying the length. The analysis has been done for 365nm, 405nm, 480nm, 545nm. The antenna has been modified by creating slots. It has been noted that the modified antenna has an improved gain
