Abstract

The washing machines available in Indian market are not portable. The weight of the traditional washing machine is high. The average capacity of the washing machine is around six to nine kg. The need for portable, weightless, and cost-effective washing machines is required to satisfy the demands of niche customers. In this work, a CAD model of portable washing machine was developed, and analysis was done using student version of ANSYS 2021.Modal analysis is performed to determine the dynamic characteristics of the system under different natural frequencies. Random vibration analysis indicated the deformation along x, y and z axis. The maximum deformation was reported at a natural frequency of 60.9 Hz
